The BildungsTicket is the ultimate ticket for schoolchildren and available for 15 euros per month.
Fare Information
- valid for one person
- valid in the Saxon part of the MDV network
(fare zones: 110, 121-129, 131-134, 141-147, 151 156, 162-168) - valid all day
- is issued as a 12 month-subscribtion
- is not transferable to other people (Please carry proof of eligibility with you. Acceptable as proof of eligibility is a valid MDV customer card, Schülerausweis, student ID, or equivalent proof from an educational institution.)

Who is eligible for these offers?
For students who attend the general school system (public, state-approved or state-recognized private schools) or a vocational school (without dual training) in Saxony, but also for trainees in purely school-based training and volunteers with a location in Saxony.
Special features
The BildungsTicket must be applied for and is issued exclusively by the transport companies located in the town the school is located in, in the districts of Northern Saxony and Leipzig and the city of Leipzig.
Please note
If the school location and the pupil’s home are in different Saxon networks (e.g. home in the VVO and school location in the MDV network), the network area the home is in may also be selected as the area of validity (in this example VVO).
Subscribe in 3 easy steps

- Complete: Select your preferred fare zones.
- Return application: Return your completed Abo application to the transport company by the 10th of the month or send it in by mail.
