Special features
On the network oft the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) GmbH bicycles can be taken along free of charge from Mon to Sat from 7.30 pm to 6 am and on Sun all day.
In fare zone 210 (Halle) bicycles can be taken along free of charge Mon to Fri from 9 pm to 4 am, on Sat from 9 pm to 8 am and on Sun (as well as on public holidays) from 9 pm to 9 am.
ABO Flex subscription
For a monthly payment of EUR 6.90, you can acquire a chip card, which is a base card. It entitles you to the following discounted tickets:
- Single ticket ABO Flex
- Short ride single ticket ABO Flex
- Surcharge ticket ABO Flex
The discount can amount to 50% of the ticket price.
LVB subscribers who use Move+ can not acquire a chip card.
The chip card on its own does not entitle to any rides. It is only valid in conjunction with one of the tickets listed, when validated (with the exception of LVB Move+ subscribers).
Some transport companies issue cashless tickets as part of an ABO subscription at stationary and mobile ticket machines as well as at their service points. All other transport companies issue discounted tickets against immediate payment.
Purchase ABO Flex Tickets with the MOOVME App
ABO Flex customers can buy discounted or non-discounted tickets – as an alternative to using the chip card – cashlessly via their mobile phone service, if they provide their mobile phone number for identification.
Invoicing is carried out by means of a monthly settlement by the transport company that you made the ABO Flex contract with.
