Short-trip ticket
For rides by tram, bus, or regional train with shorts distances the short-trip ticket is an inexpensive option.
Fare Information
- valid for one person and for one trip
- applicable for trams and buses within city transport areas Leipzig (fare zone 110) and Halle (fare zone 210) for up to four stops not counting the embarking station
- in the counties of up to a distance of 4 kilometers
- in regional trains between 2 adjacent stops (if the train passes a stop it counts anyway), exceptions are listed at www.mdv.de/site/uploads/anlage_10.pdf
- changing vehicles not permitted
- must be validated before travelling
- is not transferable after starting the journey

Children, animals and carry-on items
No additional travellers on this ticket permitted.
Special features
The short-trip ticket is valid for all four stops within the Leipzig city tunnel, i.e. between the stops at each end of the tunnel: Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (subterranean train station) and Leipzig Bayerischer Bahnhof.
